Children Safety
If you drop your children (ages 11 and up) off to study at the library, plan to pick them up well before the library closes. If you arrive after closing time, look for your children at the Royal Oak Police Department on Third Street just west of Troy. For the safety of all concerned, the library will not leave children waiting for their parents outdoors. For details on appropriate ages for children to be left alone at the Library. Please refer to policy 3.40 - The Unattended Child.
