Our Mission

The parks & recreation department is dedicated to providing residents a variety of year-round recreation opportunities that are responsive to your needs, are enjoyable to your families and contribute to your physical and mental well-being.

The Royal Oak Parks & Recreation Department publishes all programs and classes in the Insight newsletter. Insight is our seasonal brochure which is mailed to every household prior to registration. It is also available in the Parks & Recreation office, Senior/Community Center, City Hall, and the Royal Oak Public Library.

You can mail in your registration, register in person, and even register online.
