In anticipation of next week’s severe arctic blast, the City of Royal Oak will establish warming centers at the following locations:
- Salter Community Center at 1545 E. Lincoln Ave.
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday – Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Royal Oak Farmers Market at 316 E. 11 Mile Rd.
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Tuesday – Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Royal Oak Senior Center at 3500 Marais Ave.
- Monday: Closed (Federal Holiday)
- Tuesday – Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
In addition to our warming shelters, we will continue to liaison with our non-governmental partners to support those currently experiencing homelessness at the following locations:
- Welcome Inn Day Center at 1717 W 13 Mile Rd.
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Rotational Overnight Shelter
- Genesis Church at 309 N. Main St.
