[ARCHIVED] Automotive Hall of Fame “Achievement” Exhibit and Lecture at the Library

Automotive Hall of Fame Exhbit

The Royal Oak Public Library has partnered with the Automotive Hall of Fame to bring you their “Achievement” exhibit, a celebration of Black leadership and innovation. The contributions African-Americans made to automotive industry have not been celebrated or even fully captured and shared, and we recognize that these are important stories that need to be told. This exhibition consists of a multi-channel experience about Black contribution to the automotive industry and the industry’s impact on Black families and communities. Achievement recognizes 19 African Americans’ success stories in the Automotive Industry from 1873 to 2022. The exhibit is on display January 4-25, 2024.

On Friday January 12 at 2pm, join the Automotive Hall of Fame at the Library to learn more about the Achievement exhibit, celebrating Black leadership and innovation in the automotive industry, and get a guided tour of the exhibit from the Hall of Fame experts.

Make your plan to stop by the library to view the exhibit, attend the lecture, and to learn more about this rich and interesting history.
