Residents Mini-Academy

Royal Oak will be hosting mini-academies for the a variety of issues a few times a year.  Each mini-academy will allow participants to learn more about a specific issue, hearing from staff, community partners and engaging in solutions.

Sustainability and Climate Action Plan Mini-Academy

The city of Royal Oak recently passed a Sustainability and Climate Action Plan to help the community respond to the environmental challenges ahead and contribute to solutions that mitigate climate change. This academy is a 3-week program that will focus on helping residents understand what is in the Sustainability and Climate Action Plan, what actions the city is taking and what you can do to help.  Each session will highlight two parts of the plan and then feature community partners to help residents learn more about how they can participate in sustainable programs and actions.

Dates: July 7th, 14th and 21st from 6pm to 8pm. At this time sign ups have closed.
