Residents of all ages are invited to roll up their sleeves and join the community art project during the MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 19, from 9:00–11:30 a.m. at Clawson High School (101 Phillips Ave.)

This isn’t art that gets packed away at the end of the day—it will live on at Welcome Inn, offering warmth and a daily reminder that our community cares. This feel-good, do-good project is made possible through the generosity of the Royal Oak Civic Foundation.

Curbside tree recycling has been extended and will be available through January 16 on your regular collection day.

Please place your tree at the curb on your regular trash day. Remember to remove all decorations, lights, stands, and plastic bags—otherwise, your tree won’t be picked up.

If you miss curbside collection, don’t worry! You can drop off your tree for free at SOCRRA, located at 995 Coolidge, through March 31.
