Veterans Day Ceremony
This year’s Royal Oak Veterans Day Ceremony will include the distribution of Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pins to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the official end of the war on April 30, 1975.
Those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces anytime from November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975 are invited to receive a pin. There is no distinction between veterans who served in-country, in-theater, or elsewhere during the Vietnam War period. All were called to serve. None could choose where they were sent.
On Nov. 11, we'll honor you all — our loved ones, partners, neighbors, and friends — who are amoung the 4 million who served in the Vietnam era.
We honor your service, valor and sacrifice.
Please join us.
