Happy Labor Day

As we head into the long weekend, let's take a moment to honor the hard work and dedication of all workers who keep our community thriving. Whether you're headed to Arts, Beats & Eats, enjoying the return of college football or getting in some extra rest, enjoy these last days of summer!

City offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2, in observance of Labor Day. The library will be closed from Saturday, Aug. 31 through Monday, Sept. 2.

There will be no curbside recycling/trash collection services on Monday, Sept. 2. Instead, there will be a one-day delay for the remainder of the week.

Draft Master Plan

The FIRST DRAFT of Royal Oak's updated Master Plan is here! This first draft presents a key milestone in the master plan update process. It signifies a major step toward adopting a new, comprehensive plan that outlines our community's vision as we grow and evolve over the next 20-30 years.

SAVE THE DATE: Town Hall

The Royal Oak Planning Commission will hold a town hall style special meeting to field questions regarding the current draft master plan on Monday, Sept. 16, starting at 6 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers, Room 121, at the Royal Oak City Hall, 203 S Troy St.
