2024 Construction Projects Map available now!

Use the map above to see if a project is affecting your street. The city realizes construction will be an inconvenience and all efforts to expedite the work will be utilized to minimize traffic conflicts and access to various properties abutting the project.

Notices of Construction have been mailed to affected residents and copies are available online here.

CAP2407 Crooks Road

N. Main Street to 13 Mile Road

This week the contractor will be continuing to install watermain southward from Royal toward Webster.

One lane will be open for traffic in each direction throughout construction. Left turns will be prohibited for northbound and southbound traffic throughout the corridor to reduce traffic backups. Access to businesses will be maintained during construction.

CAP2415/2416 Asphalt Resurfacing

This project will resurface several streets in the residential neighborhoods and the downtown.

CAP2416 Downtown

This week the contractor has scheduled the base layer of asphalt to be put down on Monday the 22nd extending into Tuesday the 23rd, weather permitting.  They will begin on Lafayette then work counter-clockwise through the project streets. The contractor also plans on adjusting manholes throughout the week.

Any inclement weather may cause this work to be rescheduled.

CAP2415 Neighborhoods

The contractor will  continue with clean up and backfilling this week on W. Ninth.

The contractor will continue with saw cutting for curb removals on Maple Court, and the West side of Pleasant, working South from 11 Mile Rd. Concrete replacement will start tentatively late this week or the week of the 29th.

Reminder for residents, once the new driveway approach is poured it will require several days of cure time before use – do not move barricades – the contractor will open the driveways when they are ready.

The map below shows the downtown streets to be resurfaced and the table lists all the project streets and phases. The full project map linked above shows the project streets in orange and purple.
