I-75 Freeway & Bridge Work

The following locations are closed this summer for reconstruction as part of the freeway project:

12 Mile Road is closed at I-75
Gardenia Ave bridge
Lincoln Ave bridge

CAP2109 S Main Street and E Lincoln Avenue Resurfacing

Contractor: AJAX Paving Industries, Inc.

S. Main Street - Lincoln to 11 Mile

This week the contractor will continue working on curb removals, catch basins and the new traffic signal underground work at 3rd, 4th and Lincoln. This will be the focus of work the next couple weeks.

E. Lincoln Avenue - Knowles to Campbell
Work on Lincoln Avenue is tentatively scheduled to begin mid-May. Construction notices have been mailed and you can view the plans at www.romi.gov/roadwork

CAP2215 Asphalt Resurfacing

Contractor: Hutch Paving, Inc.

Phase 1

Weather permitting, the contractor will be finishing up concrete work on Kenwood, Dorchester, Custer, Sunnybrook, Jeffrey and Red Run Ct this week. Milling of the existing asphalt roadways has been scheduled for next week once this work is complete.

Huron will be paved early this week.

Phase 2
Saw-cutting and concrete work will begin on Vermont this week. Work may begin on Delemere next week, if construction progresses smoothly this week on the other project streets.

The contractor will work on one side of the street at a time to maintain access for residents during construction. Temporary 'No Parking' signs will be placed where room for equipment is needed.
