CAP2008 - Crooks Road Resurfacing

The contractor will be finishing up pavement removal and replacement on the west side of the roadway this week. Once all new concrete has cured, the contractor will start backfilling behind curbs and begin minor restoration.

During construction, Crooks Road traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Left turns will be prohibited for northbound and southbound traffic at 13 Mile Road and 14 Mile Road. Please seek alternate traffic routes if possible to avoid delays.

CAP2105 Concrete Street Repairs

Contractor: Mark Anthony Contracting, Inc.

Phase 1: Streets EAST of Campbell Road and SOUTH of 11 Mile Road
The contractor is removing and pouring deficient concrete panels, working on one side of the street at a time. If residents driveway access will be affected, they will receive a door hanger notice the day beforehand.

CAP2110 Water Main Improvements

Contractor: FDM Contracting, Inc.

Mobilization and installation of traffic control devices will begin on the below streets this week. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of May 17th.

• N. Vermont Avenue
• E. Houstonia Avenue
• Parkdale Avenue
• Girard Avenue.

CAP2115 Asphalt Resurfacing Improvements

Contractor: Hutch Paving, Inc.

Phase I
The contractor is currently working on Phase I streets. Most of the concrete work is complete, and the contractor plans to begin milling the old asphalt off the streets beginning early next week.

Elmhurst Avenue (North) - Concrete work is complete.
Rosewold Avenue - Concrete work is complete.
Nakota Road (W-S) - Concrete work is complete.
Nakota Road (D-B) - The remaining concrete work should be complete mid-week.
Elmhurst Avenue (at Starr) - Concrete work is complete.
Starr Road - Partial-width pavement replacement should be completed mid-week.

Phase II
The phase II streets will be saw-cut in preparation for removals this week, for when the contractor moves to Phase II.

CAP2135 Road Reconstruction Improvements

Contractor: Mark Anthony Contracting, Inc.

Manor Avenue - The contractor has installed the new roadway and the new concrete is curing. The contractor pans to begin work on approaches and sidewalk at the end of the week.

Cresthill Avenue - The contractor will finish paving the roadway this week.

Chester Road - Pavement removal was completed last week. The contractor will work on prepping the new roadway for pavement this week by installing new edge drain and grading.
