Placing Grab and Go Holds
Use the online catalog (ropl.org) to place a hold on an item or call the library for assistance to place a hold. Due to limited staffing, we must rely on the online catalog to process hold requests. Please note that an item’s availability to you is not dependent upon the items location. We currently have extremely limited capabilities to retrieve items that are currently shelved/housed at this library and ask that you give the system enough time to process your request.
Make an appointment for your hold pick-up: Item pick-ups are conducted BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Once you’ve been notified that your item is available for pick-up, call (248) 246-3700 or use the myLibro app (FREE from the GooglePlay or Apple Store). Please note: Your items will be checked out to your account prior to your appointment so don't worry if you get an email receipt before you get your items.
Arrive at the appointment time for pick-up: When you arrive, park in the 11 mile 5 minute parking area. Your items will be in the north lobby with your name on the bag.. Your package will be placed on the table near the library door. You may drop off any returns you may have at the same time.
