Parent-Child Workshop: Science 101 for Preschoolers

10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Youth Activity Room
Featured Programs, Adult, Youth, Parent-Child Workshops
Young children learn science best by direct hands-on learning. Parents and children practice some very simple experiments that allow the children to make their own discoveries. What happens when colors are mixed together? How do magnets work? How do plants grow? Parents can learn to see science in the everyday environment and make it part of their child's daily experience. For parents and their 3, 4, and 5 year olds (not yet in kindergarten). Please no younger siblings at these sessions. Limit 30.
Registration is requested. Fill out the form below or call the adult reference desk at 248-246-3727. Sponsored by the Friends of the Royal Oak Public Library.
