Join us on Saturday, February 16 at 3:00 PM for our music program Some Enchanted Evening: the Music of Rodgers & Hammerstein. Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein were an influential, innovative and successful American musical theater writing team. They created a string of popular Broadway musicals in the 1940s and 1950s, initiating what is considered the "golden age" of musical theatre.
Sopranos Diana Turner and Yana Levovna, and baritone John DeMerell, accompanied by pianist Martin Mandelbaum, will perform selections from Oklahoma, Carousel, South Pacific, and The King and I.
