Congratulations to the 642 families who participated in Be Creative @ Your Library. More than 1,170 preschool and elementary aged children participated. An additional 240 middle and high school students were part of the teen program, Express Yourself @ Your Library. Over 5,000 people attended the summer programs. A tremendous thank you goes to the Friends of the Royal Oak Public Library and OUR Credit Union for sponsoring all of the individual programs for summer readers. The Kiwanis Club of Royal Oak, The Best Buy Foundation, The Friends of ROPL and OUR Credit Union were instrumental in funding the free book program.
