... can you please help me find an article that was in one of the local newspapers in the 1950's about a gangster named Billy the Kid. there was a shoot out in a local bar named John R Bar on John R street in Royal Oak. This man killed my grand father and uncle in this bar. My uncles' name was Joesph Vinokuro and my grand fathers name was Edward Zompanti. the owner of the bar was Victor Vinokuro. I may be spelling the names incorrectly. If you could find this information for me it would be greatly appreciated. I live in Saginaw. Please call me at (edited for privacy) to let me know if you can locate this paper. I do know this was in the paper way back when and there was a court trial on this. I was not born yet but was shown the paper many, many years ago by someone but it is lost. thank you so m uch |
