FUHS, EVELYN AMELIA “EVIE”, age 101, passed peacefully on March 23, at the home of her sister, surrounded by her family. She celebrated her 101st birthday on February 8, 2015. Evie was born in St. Clair Shores, the oldest daughter of Otto and Carrie (Whitmore) Fuhs and they preceded her in death, along with her brother, Carl Fuhs. She is survived by her sister, Geraldine Houtteman, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
