If you receive a book that you placed on hold, can you renew it?
I put this book on hold, but I'm not sure if I can renew it because it's not from the Royal Oak Public Library, and I don't believe I was the only one that had it on hold; I think there were one or two other people that also had. Can I renew it, or do I have to return it because other people have it on hold? And if I can renew it, can I do at the Royal Oak Public Library, or do I have to do it at the library the book is from? Thank you so much.

    Yes, usually if the book is from another library and has holds on it you would have to return it but can always place another request on the book. You can renew a book online regardless of who owns it but if there are other holds on it your renewal will be rejected.
