Take a break, sit back, and enjoy live music at the Royal Oak Public Library!

Join us on Saturday, December 8 at 3:00 PM in the Friends Auditorium as we take a journey back in time with the music of the Silver Strings Dulcimer Society, when life was much simpler and music filled the air to the delight of young and old alike. The Silver Strings group is beginning their 29th year of playing “Old Time Music,” featuring the Hammered Dulcimer in addition to the guitar, banjo, fiddle, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, penny whistle, autoharp, harmonica, and bass fiddle. Enjoy listening to a variety of traditional music, including Irish jigs and reels, Celtic music, waltzes, polkas, and even some standard holiday music to celebrate the season.
