Laird (Larry) G. Butler age 64 of Hazel Park Mich. passed away May 29 2011. Laird was born February 6 1947 to Kenneth and Betty Butler in Highland Park Mich. Laird is survived by his loving wife Barbara of Hazel Park; daughter Stacie (Scott) of Hazel Park and Kimberly (Dennis) of Waterford; sister Sheila (Roy) of Phoenix Ariz. Judy (Geoff) of Madison Heights Kendra (Michael) of Ohio Cynthia (Gene) of Sterling Heights and Laurel of Ferndale; brother Scott (Kathy) of Ferndale and Steven of Ferndale; grandson Daniel of Waterford; granddaughters Brette and Samantha of Florida and several nieces and nephews. Laird is preceded in death by his son Laird Kenneth James Butler (Tracy) of Florida; father Kenneth Butler (Betty) of Windsor Ontario; brother Bryan Butler of Royal Oak and sister Bonnie Hynes (Michael) of Troy. Cremation has taken place with a memorial planned for a later date. Memorials can be made in honor of Laird to the American Lung Association of Michigan.
