Anne Selnes age 80 a resident of Royal Oak died September 1 2011 at her home. She was born April 12 1931 in Rochester. Mrs. Selnes retired from Michigan Bell Telephone Company. She also loved dogs. She was predeceased by her husband Terry Selnes and sister Mary Ellen Ziehl. She is survived by her nephew Dan Ziehl. The visitation will be Saturday 1 p.m. until time of 4 p.m. service at the Wm. Ethel Adolean "Mickey" Bazzell age 86 passed away on September 13 2011 in Las Vegas Nev. She was born April 5 1925 in Henry County Tenn. the oldest daughter of the late John Washington Hughes and Carrye Velma Lawrence. Mickey who grew up in Murray Ky. lived most of her adult years in Hazel Park Mich. where she was an accomplished seamstress. She was a longtime member of the Beverly Hills Church of Christ. Mickey married James M. Bazzell on April 26 1947 in Corinth Miss. They had three children Randal Bazzell Anita (Richard) Jones and Sharon Bazzell. She was a sister to Mary Lee Hughes James Everett Hughes Hilda Swisher and William Hughes. Mickey was dearly beloved by six grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; eight nephews and nieces; 11 great-nephews and nieces; and 12 great-great-nephews and nieces.
