Jeffrey J. Allan, 45, of Clinton Township, formerly of Clawson and Troy, died Feb. 19, 2008, at Care Plus AFC Home. He was born Oct. 7,. 1962, in Royal Oak. Mr. Allan worked as a systems analyst for EDS of Troy. He liked old cars and enjoyed being outdoors, skiing, boating, camping and hiking. Mr. Allan is survived by his parents, Frank and Dorothy Allan; children, Kelsey and Jeremy Allan; siblings, Lisa Roberts and Marc (Amy) Allan; and grandmother, Ruth Trout. Visitation, Thursday, 5-7 p.m., and funeral service Thursday, 7 p.m., will be at Lutheran Church of the Master, 3333 Coolidge Road, Troy. Frank Hulme

Frank Hulme, 86, of Royal Oak, died Feb. 19, 2008, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born May 26, 1921, in Stoke-on-Trent, England. Mr. Hulme was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. He was a Royal Oak resident for more than 45 years. He married Alice Hulme Nov. 23, 1946, in Ferndale. Mr. Hulme is survived by his wife, Alice; children, Cindy (Roger) Ackerman, Frank (Jan) Hulme, and Glenn (Margo) Hulme; sister, Betty (John) Render; grandchildren, Scott, Tammy, Debbie, Derek and Danielle; and great-grandchildren, Patrick, Steven, Jason, Michael and Jack. He was predeceased by his sister, Margaret. Visitation,Thursday, 5-8 p.m., and Friday, 2-8 p.m., and funeral service Saturday, 10 a.m., will be at Wm. Mary Kalinowski (Taylor), of Royal Oak, has died after a long fight with cancer. Mrs. Kalinowski is survived by her husband, Ted; children Vickie, Keith, Tim and Brad; mother, Helen Heartmen Taylor; and many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Wilber Taylor. Friends and family are invited to a memorial Mass Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, 814 W. Ella E. Williams, 93, formerly of Troy and Almont, died Feb. 21, 2008, in Rochester Hills. She was born Dec. 3. 1914 in Lilbourn, Mo. Mrs. Williams enjoyed crocheting and arts and crafts. She is survived by her children, Donald (Delores), Larry (Nancy), John (Leslie), and Edna (Bill) Baer daughter-in-law. Peggy siblings, Charles (Delpha) Dement, Virginia Shelby, and Maxine (Ken) Lowing; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of more than 50 years, Lowell; and her son, Jewell. Visitation, Sunday, 3-8 p.m., and funeral service Monday, 11 a.m., at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township. Burial will be at Oakview Cemetery.

Malcolm J. Armstrong

Malcolm J. Armstrong, 77, of Sterling Heights, died Feb. 18, 2008, at Crittenton Hospital, Rochester Hills. He was born Jan. 13, 1931, in Detroit. Mr. Armstrong earned bachelors' degrees from the University of New Hampshire and Ohio State University and a masters' degree in education from Wayne State University. He retired from Kimball High School, Royal Oak, where he worked as a principal for 35 years. Mr. Armstrong was a lifetime member of the Royal Oak Lions Club, belonged to the Golden Choraliers, was a member of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel and belonged to the Somerset Walkabout Club. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events, going for walks, reading and singing. He loved spending time with family and friends. Mr. Armstrong is survived by his wife, Jean A. (Severe) Armstrong, whom he married Dec. 22, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio; children Buff Armstrong of Kalamazoo, Dianne (the late Kevan) Weiland of Berkley, and Malcolm (Kathy) Armstrong of New Haven; siblings Muriel (Don) Smith of Boca Raton, Fla., Janice (Ken) Saundry of Naples, Fla., and Keith (Monette) Armstrong of Boca Raton, Fla.; grandchildren Brandon Young, Madeleine Weiland, Olivia Weiland, and Katelyn Armstrong; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, James E. (Jay) Armstrong; and his parents, James Edward and Madeleine (Cross-. ett) Armstrong.
