Nancy H. McCullen

Nancy H. McCullen, 74, of Troy, died Feb. 6, 2008, at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy. She was born June 29, 1933, in Covington, Mich. Mrs. McCullen retired from Kroger and was an antique dealer with Antique Emporium, Waterford. She married Robert T. McCullen on Nov. 24, 1951, in Walled Lake. She was a member of DOLLS and FRIENDS Doll Club. She enjoyed collecting dolls and antiques. She dearly loved her family; she will be greatly missed and cherished forever. Mrs. McCullen is survived by her husband; children, Vicki (Greg) Wilke and Mary Beth (Jim) Winkelbauer; grandchildren, Daphne, Jeff, Rose, Jack, Erin (Mike), Lisa, Allison (Max) and Sarah (Alex); six great-grandchildren; siblings, Violet "Skip" Tuck, Kelly (Marianne) Sikkila, Dennis (Darlyne) Sikkila and Dave (Debi) Sikkila; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Helen Sikkila; son, Robert J. McCullen; and brother, Jim Sikkila. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8 p.m., Sunday from 2-9 p.m., and "Time of Sharing Memories" on Sunday at 7:30 p.m., all at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., Clawson. Mrs. McCullen will lie in state Monday from 9:30 a.m. until Mass is celebrated at 10 a.m. at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 581 E. 14 Mile Road, Clawson. Eldon J. Dooley, 79, of Ferndale, formerly of Oak Park, died Feb. 7, 2008, at Medilodge of Sterling Heights. He was born June 29, 1928, in Waltham, Mass. Mr. Dooley was a Ferndale resident for 30 years. He loved to play golf and fish. Mr. Dooley is survived by his children, Mike Dooley of Royal Oak, Peggy (Alan) Leichtman of Ann Arbor, Pamela (Marty) Roy of St. Clair Shores, Carol (David) Korchmar of Macomb and Patty Dooley of Royal Oak; his ten grandchildren; and hid beloved friend, Wyn Basile. Visitation Sunday, 3-8 p.m., and Monday, 10 a.m. until the time of noon funeral service, will be at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road, Royal Oak. Alice Joan Morrill (Deda), 76, lifelong resident of Clawson, died Jan. 29, 2008, at Gratiot Hospital in Alma. Mrs. Morrill worked for Dr. Ronald Knauff for 40 years, retiring in 1999. Mrs. Morrill is survived by her husband, Leo C. Morrill, whom she married in 1951; children Leo W. (Raylene Leger) Morrill and Bryan (Mary Bialik) Morrill; grandchildren Marcella, Pauline, Teresa, Billy, Codey, Chelsea and Bryan; brother John (Dolores) Ratza; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Ratza and Hulda Pauline Cole; and her brother, Joe Ratza. A memorial gathering Monday, 5-7 p.m., and service, 7 p.m., will be held at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main, Clawson. Douglas Riley Sr.

Douglas Riley Sr., 87, of Hazel Park, died Feb. 8, 2008, at his home. He was born July 26, 1920, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Mr. Riley graduated from Hazel Park High School in 1938. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in the South Pacific. Mr. Riley was retired from Ford Motor Co: after 44 years of service. He was a member of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Hazel Park. He had been a member of the Family Camper and R.V.'s Association for 42 years and was a Hazel Park resident for 84 years. Mr. Riley is survived by his children, Maureen K. Riley, Douglas Riley Jr. and Edith (Ron) Kunze; granddaughter Katie Kunze; and siblings Hazel Lyons and Elsie Perez. He was predeceased by his wife, Sadie. Visitation Sunday, 2-9 p.m., will be at Hoperoft Funeral Home, 31145 John R., Madison Heights. Mildred J. Holcomb, 75, of Ferndale since 1957, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at St. John Macomb Hospital, Warren. She was born Jan. 17, 1933, in Detroit. She was predeceased by her husband, James Niles; a son, James Niles Holcomb II and a sister, Norma J. Howe. Surviving are her children, Ava L. (David) Sparks-LaLiberte and Ellen A.
