Beloved wife of the late Emmitt "Pete"; loving mother of Winfred Bates Emmett Bates Jr. Jeff Bates and Gina (Tom) Brew; grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of seven; sister of Howard (Joetta) Breeding Alice Lark Phyllis (Bob) Peace Sharon Wysocki Glenda (Keith) Quillen Brenda (Loren) Sturgil and the late Diane Bradford.
