Thelma L. Crane age 82 a resident of Royal Oak since 1970 formerly of Mentor-on-the-Lake Ohio died September 8 2012 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born December 11 1929 in Cleveland Ohio to the late John R. and Pearl R. Dick. Mrs. Crane worked as a bookkeeper for Stewart Fabrics in Birmingham for 10 years. She was a passionate seamstress and a member of the Creative Clothing Club. She is survived by her daughters Barbara D. Crane Lauren C. Crane (Julia Stone) Suzanne L. (Bill) Johnson; daughter-in-law Linda Bolton; sister-in-law Lois Dick; grandchildren Lisa (Scott) Senkbeil Leslie (Erik) Roddan Liberty (Todd) Tosti Richard Johnson and Russell Johnson; and great-grandchildren Julia Erika and Jonathan Senkbeil Mikayla Roddan Sophia Sabrina and Sara Tosti. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward E. Crane; son David E. Crane; and siblings Janet R. (Lewis) Wihl and Ronald Dick. There will be a memorial visitation Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5 p.m. at the Wm.
