William Frank Patterson died at Pembroke Regional Hospital Pembroke Ontario on August 4 2012. Bill recently celebrated his 84th birthday. He is survived by his wife and best friend Jackie Ryan Patterson; his children Carla Patterson Round Lake Illinois Dennis Patterson (Cyndy Weeks Patterson) Buckland Mass. Liane Patterson (Mark Queen); and his grandson Nicholas Patterson-Queen Winnipeg Manitoba. Bill was predeceased by his parents F. L. Patterson and Gertrude Flumerfelt Patterson; his brother John Patterson; and sister Jane Trudell all of Michigan. Bill graduated from Royal Oak High School Class of 1947. He retired as Cutting Tool Designer and Product Engineer with the Eclipse Cutting Tool Division of Illinois Tool Works working in Ferndale Mich. In 1985 Bill and Jackie moved north from Royal Oak to the Ottawa Valley living in Westmeath Township then 14 years ago moved to Pembroke.
