Earl J. 'Pat' Patterson age 85 of Royal Oak died August 2 2012. He was born August 4 1926 in Madisonville Ky. to Enoch and Docie Patterson. Mr. Patterson served in the Army during WWII. He had worked in the construction industry and retired from the Royal Oak School System where he was a custodian. Surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Katherine in 1984 and by 12 siblings including his brother Otis. Private services will be held.
