Sophie Habalewsky age 95 a resident of Madison Heights Mich. for the passed 45 years passed away at home April 16 2012. She was born February 24 1917 in Donora Pennsylvania. Sophie was a member of the P.W.A. (Polish Women's Alliance). She is survived by her children Claudia (Perry) Mallette of Madison Heights and Martin (Ruth) Habalewsky of Port Huron; grandchildren Julian Reid Jessica (Robert) Felts Bronwyn (Ryan) Polachowski Paul and Justin Habalewsky; great-grandchildren Katie Bobby Timmy Felts and Aurora Reid. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley in 2003; brothers Henry Eugene Walter Landis Alexander and Charles Rataj. Visitation Thursday 2:30-8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Madison Heights MI.
