Peter Dan Sturtz age 93 of Royal Oak since 1952 passed away on January 5 2012. Peter retired from Chevrolet Engineering after 29 years of service. He was very active in the UAW and his community.He loved his family and church very much. Survived by his wife of 69 years Bettie; children Gregory (Julie) Douglas (Cheryl) and Terrilyn (Brian) Sturtz; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brothers John and Stanley.His family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-8 p.m. at the Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home 2125 W. Twelve Mile Road Berkley (2 blocks West of Woodward). Memorial service on Monday 11 a.m. at Royal Oak Missionary Church 411 E. Eleven Mile Road Royal Oak (Between Troy and Curry streets).Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday before the service.
