Eileen Arsina Stone age 88 a resident of Ferndale died Tuesday January 17 2012 in Petoskey. She was born May 20 1923 in Bay City to George Bryan Moat and Alma McAllister. Eileen was passionate about animals and animal rights. She loved antiquing and was a reservation clerk for Michigan Central Railroad. She will be missed by all who knew her. Survived by daughter Diana (Ed) Throckmorton of Harbor Springs; grandchildren Dr. Gary (Courtney) Mally Jennifer (Richard) Paxton Kait Mally and Elizabeth Throckmorton; five amazing great-grandchildren; and brother George Bryan Moat Jr. Predeceased by husband William. Visitation Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 11:30 a.m. until funeral service noon at Spaulding & Curtin Funeral Directors Ferndale. Interment Oakview Cemetery Royal Oak.
