Alice L. Hamilton age 78 passed away January 17 2012 in Livonia. She is survived by her loving daughter Sandra (Robert) Hamilton-Gregory; brothers Avid and Wayne; five honorary grandchildren; and one honorary great-grandchild. Also leaves 22 nieces and nephews; 44 great-nieces and nephews; and many great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Edith; brothers Lowell Leland and Milford. Alice was a 1951 graduate of Berkley High School. She became a secretary and served 50 years. She enjoyed her family and being active in her church along with reading senior groups and traveling. Visitation 3 – 8 p.m. Friday at Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home 2125 W. 12 Mile Rd. Berkley (2 blocks W. of Woodward). Funeral service 12 p.m. Saturday at Faith Baptist Church 3118 Greenfield Royal Oak (S. of 13 Mile Rd.). Private burial at Roseland Park. Memorials suggested to Faith Baptist Church or The Gideon's.
