Mary E. Burr age 84 a resident of Ferndale died Thursday December 8 2011 in Warren. She was born October 22 1927 in Ferndale to Rev. Chester and Julia Sampson. Survived by children Steven (Cathryn) Jeffrey (Cathy) and Nicolette (Paul) Hamel; nine grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. Predeceased by husband Keith; son Gregory and sisters Catherine Julia and Huberta. Visitation Monday 10 a.m. until funeral service at 1 p.m. at Spaulding and Curtin Funeral Directors Ferndale.
