Laura J. Scott, 79, of Royal Oak for most of her life, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born Sept. 9, 1928 in Hard-burly, Ky. She was predeceased by husband, Raymond Scott, on April 9, 2004. They were married June 29, 1963 in Southfield. She also was predeceased by children, Scott Chapman and Joanne Bruder. Surviving are siblings, John Wood, Billie Purol, Anita Proctor, Betty McLeish and Ethel Lowe; grandchildren, Chris (Dawn) Bruder, Andrea (Brett) Liszak and Angela Chipman and four great-grandchildren.
