Ada Lee Hartwick, 90, of Royal Oak, died Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Cambridge East Nursing Center, Madison Heights. She was born Oct. 7, 1917, in McKees Rocks, Pa. A resident of Oakland County since 1947, Mrs. Hartwick was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and of Plum Hollow Golf Club. In the 1930s, she had her own radio show in Cleveland. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing the violin. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry W. Hartwick, on Nov. 27, 1981. Surviving are her children, Robert H. Hartwick of Royal Oak and Linda (Gerald) Ackley of Mason; grandchildren, Kirsten (Steve) Pennington, Ryan (Jennifer) Ackley, Richard (Sharon) Hartwick and Robert (Faranak) Hartwick and eight great-grandchildren.
