Alice I. Demattia, 85, a 50-year resident of Clawson, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at her home. She was born March 22, 1923, in Atlanta. Mrs. Demattia retired in 1994 as an assembler at Lectron Products of Rochester after 17 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Demattia is survived by her children, Patricia Lamb, Deborah Douglas, and Joseph T. (Sheryl) Demattia Jr.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sue (Stanley) Michaels. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph T. Demattia Sr., whom she married in 1948; and daughter, Marion Dianne Lamb. Visitation is Friday, 1-9 p.m., and funeral service Saturday, 10 a.m., at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road.
