Arthur P. Tamm, 91, of Rochester Hills, formerly of Berkley and Royal Oak, died Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Boulevard Health Center, Rochester Hills. He was born Oct. 5, 1916, in Cicero, Ill. Mr. Tamm graduated from St. Mary High School in Royal Oak. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran who retired from National Block Co. Mr. Tamm is survived by his wife, Marjorie F. Tamm; children, James A. (Margaret) Tamm of Okeechobee, Fla., Gerald L. (Deborah) Tamm of Sterling Heights, and Laurie M. (Charles) Marchessault of Troy; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers, Eugene Tamm and Robert Tamm. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, all at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile, Royal Oak. He will lie in state Monday, 10:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass is celebrated at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church, Berkley. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
