Iva Russell, 88, a 53-year resident of Madison Heights, died Thursday, March 27, 2008, at her home. She was born May 10, 1919, in Murray, Ky. Mrs. Russell is survived by her children, Sarah Owens of Goodrich, Carol (Robert) Stanichuk of Troy, James Russell of Poland, hid., William (Pam) Russell of Madison Heights, Joseph Russell of Madison Heights, Mark (Tracey) Russell of Lapeer, and Adam (Mary) Russell of Lake Orion; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Wesley; parents, Tanny and Ada (Vincent) Cook; and seven siblings. Visitation will be Saturday from 3-9 p.m., and funeral service Sunday at 2:30 p.m., both at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre, Madison Heights.
