Betty Jean Boehm Sr., 89, a lifelong Royal Oak resident, died March 13, 2008, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born Oct. 12, 1918, in Ann Arbor. Mrs. Boehm was a homemaker. She was also a chairperson for the Royal Oak High School Reunion Committee. Mrs. Boehm is survived by her children, Dennis G. (Betty J.) Boehm of Mayville, Renee D. (Frank E.) Howes of Sterling Heights, and Sandra J. (Dean) Cinader of Madison Heights; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick W. Boehm; and her parents, Lyman and Emma Richards. Visitation Saturday, 5-8 p.m., Sunday, 2-8 p.m., and funeral Monday, 11 a.m., will be at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile, Royal Oak. Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choosing.
