Beulah B. Crawford, 91, a 52-year resident of Clawson, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at The Hospice of Henry Ford Lakeland Center, Southfield. She was born Oct. 18, 1916, in Vanlue, Ohio, to Glenn and Maude Hile. Mrs. Crawford married Theodore W. Crawford, Nov. 2, 1935, and the couple was married for 54 years prior to his death in 1990. Prior to World War II, she and her husband owned and operated a restaurant and later a grocery store and ice cream parlor, delivering groceries to families in rural Ohio before moving to Michigan in the 1940s. Mrs. Crawford was devoted to her family, her home in Clawson and her cat, Tomsy, and was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be missed by her entire family deeply. Surviving are her daughters, Judy (Dale) Schreder, Joyce (the late Bill) Gasser and JoAnn (Kraig) Bouse; son-in-law, Kenneth Lusk; grandchildren, Debbie Rosendale, David Crawford, Jeremy Crawford, Peter Schreder, Amy Musgrave and Adam Bouse; 17 great-grandchildren. and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a son, Allen R. Crawford; daughter, Janet Lusk; daughter-in-law, Mary Crawford; grandsons, Michael Gasser, Glenn Crawford and John Crawford; great-grandson, Todd Crawford; sister, Laura Hile and brother, Clifford Hile. Visitation, 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Lynch &.Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks, Clawson; funeral service, 11 a.m. Wednesday, funeral home; interment, 11 a.m. Thursday, Lee Cemetery, Amanda Township, Ohio; memorials, Hospice of Henry Ford Lakeland Center, 26900 Franklin Road, Southfield, MI 48033.
