Stella Engblom VanHove, 88, of Lapeer, died Feb. 29, 2008, at Cambridge East Nursing Home, Madison Heights. She was born March 8, 1919 in Erie, Pa. Ms. VanHove was a graduate of Royal Oak High School. She loved to paint china and dance. She is survived by sisters-in-law Georgina Engblom and Rita Engblom; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by siblings Eric, Doug and Mildred. Visitation and funeral services were held Saturday at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, Royal Oak.
