Archie Leon Bartley, 77, of Royal Oak for 30 years, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, at his home. He was born Sept. 8, 1930, in Grundy, Va. Mr. Bartley was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was owner/operator of Northern TV in Royal Oak for more than 40 years. He was a longtime member of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Hazel Park and enjoyed boating and square dancing. Surviving are his children, Robert (Donna) Bartley, John (Suzanne) Bartley, Kathy Bartley and Jeffrey (Lee Ann) Bartley; grandchildren, Breanna, Keith, Evan, Jane, Max, Katarina, Hannah and Sebastian; siblings, Vera Dudgeon, Patricia Schroeder and Doug Bartley. He was predeceased by a sister, Eula Lippman. Visitation, 3-9 p.m. Tuesday, Hoperoft Funeral Home, 31145 John R, Madison Heights; in state, 9:30 a.m. at the church until 10 a.m. Mass, St. Mary Magdalen Church, Hazel Park, with the Rev.
