Bradford W. Brownheim, 76, of Shelby Township, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at his home. He was born Dec. 27, 1931, in Syracuse, N.Y. Mr. Brownheim was very active in the Catholic Church before embracing Judaism. He was a scoutmaster and worked closely with the handicapped, elderly and hospice. He was a good friend to many people. Mr. Brownheim worked for Chrysler Corp., Forge Plant and was a U.S. Navy veteran who served in the Korean War. Surviving are his children, Jennifer (William) Reimer, Daniel (Kellie) Brownheim, Scott (Barbara) Brownheim, Ellen Brownheim-Hobson, Lucy (Chris Baldassara) Eisenhardt and Kristine (Brian) Hart; companion, Rabbi Robert Scott; brother, Irving (Shirley) Brownheim; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by companion Thomas Reddy and sisters Lucy Williams and Rose Filkins. Visitation, 3-8 p.m. today, Wm.
