George M. Wilhelm, 39, of Hazel Park, died Jan. 23, 2008, in Ann Arbor. He was born March 26, 1968, in Mt. Clemens. Mr. Wilhelm was a U.S. Army veteran who enjoyed outdoor sports. He lived in Hazel Park for 31 years. Mr. Wilhelm is survived by his daughter, Brittanee Wilhelm; stepchildren, Brook and Brianna; and siblings, Tony (Barb), Shelia (Duane) and Eddie (Keri Bernard). Family will receive friends at Hoperoft Funeral Home, 23919 John R, Hazel Park, on Saturday from 6-9 p.m., and Sunday from 2-9 p.m. A service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m., followed by burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
