Edwin Graczyk, 83, of Royal Oak since 1982, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at Woodward Hills Nursing Home, Bloomfield Hills. He was born Jan. 25, 1924, in Detroit. Mr. Graczyk retired in 1980 from the city of Royal Oak Department of Public Works. He previously worked for the city of Madison Heights. He was a friendly and outgoing man with many friends. Surviving are his wife, Marie Graczyk; children, Tom (Della) Jones of Waterford Township, Donald Graczyk of Royal Oak and Susan Rivard of Royal Oak; brothers and sisters, Frederick (Diane) Graczyk of Florida, Patrick (Carol) Graczyk of Belleville, Rita (Al) Botz of Taylor and Bernadette Mleczko of Westland; grandchildren, Amanda Rivard, Adam Rivard and several others; and 17 great-grandchildren.
