Betty W. Wachter, 88, of Berkley died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008. Mrs. Wachter was born in Toledo, Ohio, Sept. 14, 1919. Mrs. Wachter resided in Berkley for 75 years. Mrs. Wachter was predeceased by her husband, Vincent, and her brother, Robert White. Surviving are her daughters, Sally Wilson (John) Turner and Judy (Jim) White; grandchildren, Tim (Emily) Wilson, Scott Wilson, Courtney and Christine White; siblings, Warren "Duke" (Sue) White; and a sister-in-law, Patricia White. Visitation 3-7 p.m. Thursday at the Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home, 2125 W. 12 Mile Road, Berkley; funeral, 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home officiated by the Rev. James Smalarz of National Shrine of The Little Flower Catholic Church. Royal Oak; burial. Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley: memorial contributions to Beaumont Hospice or American House-Bloomfield Hills.
