Richard N. Tucker, 24, of Ferndale, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, following a car accident in Detroit. He was born May 18, 1983, in Ness City, Kan. Mr. Tucker was employed as an officer manager for Metropolitan Investigations and Recover of Detroit. He graduated from Hazel Park High School in 2002. Surviving are his father, James Tucker; mother, Miriam Depinet Tucker; siblings, Joy (Denny) Johnson of Hazel Park, Christopher (Jessica) Tucker of Hollywood, Fla., and Matthew Tucker of Walled Lake; grandfather, James L. Tucker of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nephews, Jason Cook, Brett Cook and Brendan Tucker; uncles, Joseph Depinet (Kathy) of Ft. Myers, Fla., John (Becky) Tucker of Chickamauga, Ga., and Harold (Marilyn) Tucker of Gardner, Kan.; and aunt, Rita (Tony) Fruge of Colorado Springs. Visitation, 6-9 p.m. Monday at the Sterling Heights Chapel of the Obarzanek Funeral Home, 33250 Ryan Road, north of 14 Mile; funeral service, 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home; private cremation at Meadowcrest Memorial Crematory, Detroit; cremains will be interred at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley.
