Vern W. Bueche age 85 of Cocoa Beach Fla. passed away Friday September 2 2011 at Cape Canaveral Hospital. He was born in Ferndale Michigan. He lived the Detroit area for sixty-seven years and had lived in Cocoa Beach since 1993. He was a veteran of World War II in the U. S. Naval Air Corp. Vern was a retired landscape architect who owned his own business Laverne Bueche Landscaping for many years in Troy Michigan. He was a member of Church of Our Saviour Catholic Church and he was the head of the church's bereavement ministry and many other ministries within the church and the community. Vern is survived by his wife Laura Bueche; children Lawrence (Rhonda) Bueche Kurt (Robin) Bueche Lynn (Michael) Tompkins and Kathleen (David) Dowling; step-children Michael Wright Laura Gay and Kenneth Wright; brother Clarence (Carolyn) Bueche and George Bueche; sister Rosetta (Ray) Culberson; eleven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday September 7 2011 at Church of Our Saviour Catholic Church in Cocoa Beach.
