Arlene Jean Hildbold age 71 a 45-year resident of Royal Oak died September 28 2011 at Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak. She was born June 22 1940 in Pittsburgh Pa. to the late Michael and Emma Patak. Mrs. Hildbold was a graduate of Oliver High School in Pittsburgh. She worked at LeBow Associates for 27 years in Troy and the last five years at Dynamic Technology Inc. (GM Tech Center in Stress Analysis). She loved to spend her spare time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She is survived by her husband Thomas H. Hildbold; the couple married June 6 1959 in Pittsburgh; children Thom (Linda) Hildbold of Summerville SC Cheryl Mitchell of Royal Oak and Michael (Dawn) Hildbold of Rochester Hills; former son-in-law Michael Mitchell of Fenton; brother Michael Patak of Pittsburgh; grandchildren Joseph Amber Matthew and Keara Mitchell and Kellie Hildbold; great-granddaughter Elizabeth Arlene; and many nieces and nephews. The visitation will be Sunday 1-9 p.m. and service Monday 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dale Hunter officiating at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 705 W. Eleven Mile Road (4 blks. E of Woodward) Royal Oak. The burial will take place at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak. Memorials to the Oakland County Pet Adoption Center appreciated.
