Edward J. "Eddie" Wangler Jr. age 58 a resident of Ferndale died August 4 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital in Pontiac. He was born April 30 1953 in Detroit. Eddie loved TV food and cars. He is survived by his mother Shirley E. Wangler; siblings Donna (Ron) Brissette Patricia (Terry) Spangler and Theresa (Murray) Wangler; nieces and nephews Todd Sheri Darren and Meghann; and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Edward J. Wangler Sr. Edward will lie in state today Monday 9:30 a.m. until the time of 10 a.m. Mass at St. James Catholic Church in Ferndale with the Rev. Edward Prus officiating. There will be a private burial at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy. Memorials to the Special Olympics appreciated.
