Doris K. Sherrit, 83, of. Royal Oak for 60 years, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, at Providence Hospital, Southfield. She was born Nov. 17, 1924, in England. She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander Sherrit, in 1976. Surviving are her children, Susan Sherrit and Karen Vest, both of Royal Oak; brother, Robert Cull of England; and grandchildren, Robert, Adam, Jeffrey and Joshua. A private service will be held.
